Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates that search tool. Pine County Busted Mugshots does not maintain its own log of those search terms. Messages sent through a contact method may include the information the sender chooses to provide. We keep those messages to respond or administer the site and do not share them outside our organization unless a legal requirement applies.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most web services, the site and its service providers may collect technical information when a browser loads a page. This information helps operate, secure, and understand the service.
- Internet protocol address and general technical routing information.
- Browser type, browser version, device type, operating system, and display information.
- Pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring page, and access timestamps.
- Cookies or similar identifiers used for measurement, preferences, and site function.
You can limit cookies through browser settings, though some site functions or third-party tools may behave differently when cookies are blocked.
How Information Is Used
We use technical and submitted information to operate the site, answer communications, maintain performance, diagnose errors, assess which pages help visitors, and route a search request to the provider selected by the visitor. Advertising services may use information collected on their own systems to deliver or measure advertising that may be relevant to a visitor's interests.
External Services and Links
The site links to official Pine County and Minnesota resources, including a roster route, records form, court search, corrections locator, and other custody systems. Once you select an outside link or use an outside search tool, that party's privacy terms and data practices apply. We do not control an outside site's content, availability, cookies, or handling of information submitted there.
Booking records can involve sensitive information. Minnesota's law-enforcement data law treats certain arrest data as public while protecting specified identities and permitting limited withholding. The site does not host juvenile booking material. The Pine County detention inspection's narrow rural juvenile-hold context does not make juvenile delinquency data public.
When Data May Be Shared
We do not sell personal information. Data may be available to the limited parties needed to operate a request or meet a legal obligation.
- Search partners that process a query entered into their tool.
- Analytics providers that help measure site operation and use.
- Advertising networks that provide or measure advertising services.
- Law-enforcement agencies or other public bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure.
Security Limits
We use reasonable measures intended to protect information handled by the site. No internet-connected system, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for the request you choose to make.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted personal information, they may request its removal through the site contact route. This policy does not authorize publication of juvenile court or booking information.
Your Information Choices
Subject to applicable law and the records available to us, a person may ask about personal information held through a direct message or site interaction.
- Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
- Ask to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Ask to delete information when retention is not required.
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where that right applies.
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this notice as the site, its providers, or legal obligations change. A revised version becomes effective when posted here. Continued use after a revision means the visitor accepts the updated notice.
